The Journal of the Southeastern Association for Research in Astronomy was founded to publish research papers from undergraduate authors, including but not limited to participants in the SARA REU Summer Intern Program, and undergraduates from the 10 SARA member institutions (see saraobservatory.org). Previously, our interns had published in the Communications of the I.A.P.P.P., but that journal has recently ceased publication.

One issue a year will be devoted to our interns' research papers, but we encourage undergraduate astronomical researchers from any institution to submit their manuscripts for publication. Please see Author Instructions for more details.
